The Dayton Dutch Lions signed their fourth player just before the new year, the 30 year old attacking midfielder, Ivar van Dinteren. Ivar has previously played for Dutch clubs FC Utrecht, FC Groningen, FC Zwolle and the Dutch National Team U23 and U21 squads. Overall, van Dinteren has made 277 appearances with 44 goals in the Dutch Eredivisie and First Division's combined. And appears to have one heck of a strike as this effort on goal from 2006 shows:
Currently, van Dinteren when away from soccer has put together quite the website for players looking for a new club, it's called transfervrijevoetballers.nl, and basically allows players to post their skills (like a job board) for perspective teams and their managers to browse.
