Goal.com is reporting that Pat Noonan is coming to the Crew. The Boston Globe mentions that an announcement is expected later today. The trade sends a first-round draft pick and allocation money to New England. The Revs also swap allocation places with Columbus while the Crew get Noonan.

Not a bad trade overall. We lose a first round draft pick, but our record in the draft as of late is spotty at best. I am not sure how much allocation money the Crew have left, but they will be keeping at least one allocation. The Crew finally get a striker. He may not strike fear into the opposition, but he does have 42 goals over the course of his career and can also play on the wings.
